Our policy

Develofi, LLC respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Content users add to Instructorly, such as profile photos and bios, may be removed when we receive a valid notice.

What a valid notice must include

1. Your physical or electronic signature.

2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.

3. Identification of the infringing material and where it appears, with enough detail for us to locate it.

4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our agent with: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake; your name, address, and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or St. Johns County, Florida, if outside the United States). We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
